Programs

Science Adventure Camp
Fun and educational interactive science day camp. Each week includes three field trips and two in-class days, with experiments and animal care. Science Adventure Camp operates during the summer and on many school holidays, please continue to check this website for upcoming days of camp!

After-School Classes
Science classes for kids ages 4-9, learning about science topics ranging from the human body to outer space.

The Fall Semester for Afterschool classes starts on September 29th!!! The cost for the semester is $215. Please call 212-683-2010  to register.
***THERE ARE NO SCIENCE CLASSES ON September 30th.  

 

The schedule for the Fall semester is:

MONDAY

Level 1 (Preschool) 10:30-11:30 am

Level 3 (First Grade) 3:40-4:40 pm

Level 6 (Fourth Grade) 4:45- 5:45 pm

TUESDAY

Level  4 (Second Grade) 3:40- 4:40 pm

Level 7 (Fifth Grade) 4:45- 5:45 pm

 

THURSDAY

Level 1 (Preschool) 2:30- 3:30 pm

Level 2 (Kindergarten) 3:40 - 4:40 pm

Level 5 (Third Grade) 4:45- 5:45 pm

Classes start Monday, September 29, 2008

Birthday Parties
Exciting science birthday parties, with lots of hands-on experiments and projects designed to fit your child's obsessions and interests.

Overnight Camping
Weekend trips for kids 8 and up. Learn about the science of nature, with astronomy, mineral and bug studying, camping safety, controlling fire and cooking a la caveman. Best thing ever!

Special Events
Specialized themed science spectaculars on a wide range of topics.

Summer Camp

Are you ready for a whole new summer of fun? Science Adventure Camp starts this year on June 16th and lasts until August 29th. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday we explore New York on a variety of fascinating field trips. A few highlights this year include the "cheese cave" at Murray's Cheese Shop, Beczak Environmental Education Center, the Thomas Edison Workshop, the Science Barge, and so many more! Tuesday and Thursday will be in-classroom days for experiments, projects and animal care for our 25 animal residents, including snakes, turtles, lizards, bugs, and a hedgehog! Sign up for individual days, or for week-long adventures. All ages are welcome, however, students under age 5 should have an escort for field trips.
